U of U 2009 Rosenblatt Prize
The 2009 Rosenblatt Prize has been awarded to Zeev "Valy" Vardeny, distinguished professor of physics. The $40,000 gift is presented annually to a faculty member who displays excellence in teaching, research and administrative efforts.

Format Approval Deadline for Theses and Dissertations Approaching

New Graduate School Dean Announced
Associate Vice President for Academic Affairs and Undergraduate Studies Charles A. Wight has been selected from a pool of nearly a dozen candidates to be the new Dean of the Graduate School at the University of Utah. He replaces David Chapman who will return to teaching and academic research.
