1st Annual Postdoctoral Scholar Meeting
This free professional program is the 1st Annual event designed specifically for all University Postdoctoral Scholars. Faculty Mentors and Graduate Students who are thinking about postdoctoral training are also welcome to attend. Speakers and topics include:
- "Who's The Author?" - Data Management Issues (Michael Kay, MD/PhD, Biochemistry);
- "Who's Got Time?" - Managing Your Time Effectively (Don Strassberg, PhD, Psychology);
- "Who's My Mentor?" - Getting What You Need (Diane Klotz, PhD, National Postdoctoral Association);
- and a Panel Discussion with 2006 Faculty Mentor Award Recipients (Cynthia Berg, PhD, Psychology; Chris Ireland, PhD, Medicinal Chemistry; Mary Lucero, PhD, Physiology).
- Also, Beth Alton and Diane Klotz, Executive Board Members of the National Postdoctoral Association will be on hand to talk with UU Postdocs during the Appetizer Buffet / Cash Bar available from 5:00pm to 7:00pm for all attendees.
This program is FREE for all Postdocs, Faculty Mentors, and Graduate Students thinking about postdoctoral training.
